This accuracy rate is much higher than the traditional culture and sensitivity-based testing method. Absolute Diagnostics also provides test results in 5-12 hours of receiving a viable specimen under AD controls mitigating the need to prescribe ineffective antibiotics.

In addition, a PharmD Consultant will provide recommendations to the clinician based upon antibiotic resistant genes. Moreover, the consultant will take demographic and payor information into account when giving guidance on antibiotic recommendations.
